780 ACX edition from EVGA get about 16 gigs of 1600 Mhz ram, and a samsung or kingston hyperX ssd for boot drive, 

Without looking at prices i think that is about 900, If it wasn't i'd go with a 780Ti

sold both my 7970's for over 450 $ on ebay. My cpu is a water cooled i5 3570k over clocked to 4.5 ghz. I have one stick 8 gig 1600 mhz ram and im using a 6870 until I make a descision on what to spend the money on.

yes there is a very high demand fr them for mining right now

 

780 ti, 1 stick of 8gb , and the cheaptest 120 gig ssd you can find.

Hm... I would wait till next gen GPUs and just saved your $900 till it is more than $1k and buy two of whatever the best are next year :P

None? The 780 ti is a bad value. I'd settle with a 780/290 and spend the rest on something else.
