Does anyone happen to know of a good alternative to DriveImageXML for imaging a drive?

I'm running Windows 10 and have tried Acronis True Image in the past but have disliked it's overzealous Windows Services hold.

I like DriveImageXML however it's unclear when I select C drive as a source if that includes the system reserved partition as well or not.

I have a Windows Backup backed up using Windows Backup and Restore (sdclt) but I'm unable to verify the backup is valid later.

Any tips?

EaseUS has a tool that I've used to clone a HDD to an SSD successfully before, as well as take an image just to store (though full disclose, I never tried to actually use that image to rebuild the drive :P)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I've had many good experiences with macrium reflect free, it can clone or image disks and it can create a bootable usb for restore purposes

I have to play musical hard drives today now that some devices are getting upgraded and others are getting re-purposed/sold, I have 1 HDD and 4 SSDs to clone and swap, and 2 blank HDDs to be used as temporary storage so I won't have to lose any data from the 5 drives currently in use.

I just tried Macrium Reflect Free twice on one PC where I was cloning the boot drive and both times I got a "cloned failed" message, I just tried again on a different PC where neither drive would be the boot drive and it failed again, not sure what the issue is.
