Portability? Inspiron 7577. Helios is a tad heavier. Don't get V15 nitro 2017, I heard the cooling is bad, even their own Helios 300 outperforms it. As for battery life, I don't think you won't be getting much from those 3, maybe around 4hrs tops for non-gaming usage.

Due to slightly lower fan noise and Acer QC (thermal paste problem)

Which laptop is the best option between Dell inspiron 15 7577, acer aspire v15 nitro 2017 and acer helios 300. My priorities are gaming performance, display, battery life, overheating, noise and Lil bit portability? Thanks

Must it be the 3 choices above? Personally I'll recommend Dell 7577 due to better battery life and cooling

hi

I just bought the dell, it is very good laptop, cooling is perfect BUT some how loud no throttling what so ever.

and the 1060 max q is running at 1620 Mhz which is near the boost of the regular 1060.

Screen not very bright but acceptable....

speaker is also acceptable not very loud...

others are perfect i like using the keyboard and trackpad.

my older laptop is v nitro vn7 591g which is a 4th gen i7.   throttling like hell 25% but fans are not loud to be fare

a very bad screen

and very Good speakers

don't know about Helios.

hope you find my input useful.

goodluck

That's the normal boost?

The one in my Alienware no joke boosts up to like 1975 MHz, and I got it to 2100 with an overclock.

you see the gpu is a Max Q designed to boost to 1480Mhz, it is boosting above that stated design which is very nice. Temps are holding around 54C to 55C while raised a bit.

if you lay it down flat on table temps will go up to 62-63 C.

I don't know about the Regular 1060 speeds.
