i am fixing to build a computer for my studio and i have a budget of 300-400$. I already have a case and perifreals, but i need the rest of the computer and i don't know exactly what parts fit best with other parts. I don't think i need a GPU but i might. What do y'all think i should use as hardware

laptop:

Toshiba L875D

CPU: AMD A-series A6-4400M

Storage: 640 GB

RAM: 16 GB, DDR3 SDRAM

GPU: Radeon HD 7520G

OS: WIndows 10 pro

what do you wish to do with your machine? what case do you have? I guess you live in the US?

Why add a 1050Ti if OP is not doing any video recording, just audio?

You didn't mention the PSU. If you need that just get a 1x8GB stick of RAM and buy the PSU with the rest of the money.

if you dont mind used, get a xeon e3-12xx v3 cpu and an lga1150 server board. yes any 1150 board will work but have a look if it has support for ecc memory and is a standard size. 

if you get a board that supports ecc memory you can get dirt cheap ecc ddr3 memory on ebay ($75 for 32gb). ecc memory not only gives you a lot of memory for your money but your system is less likely to crash witch is nice when you did not save a recording you have been working on for a long time.

another advantage of the xeon is lower power consumption and lower heat dissipation
