Why a 750W power supply, that's too much 550W will suffice.

The rest looks just fine.

I wasn't too sure. Bollocks, I could have saved myself some money. I though 500w wouldn't be enough.

Have you seen the PCpartpickers here everywhere it shows the wattage needed for a build and then you take some extra 150W at least to be sure that's how I decide for a PSU.

I used pc parts picker to make this system, apart from the graphics card that was different I save £200. Where do I find the wattage useage? Also, I'm thinking of overclocking anything, doesn't that use more power?

Not too bad. Was that your top budget? Not saying that GTX 970 is not a good card, but for around another £40-£80 (6gb - difference would be the cooler solution) you could've got the GTX 1060, a much better card. just saying. Pretty solid as it is. Enjoy it ;)

As I said. GTX 970 is still a good card for 1080p. And considering that people are selling it used for £150, I would say you got it for a good price, with warranty and brand spanking new. I only upgraded my 970 due to monitor upgrade, but tried it before selling it, and got me in World of Tanks in 1440p ultra settings @90 fps before it capped at 99% usage. As a comparison, my 980 Ti is getting me 115 fps stable before it caps out. So still a decent card.

my monitor isn't 1080p, so I'm going to run everything in 720p so that it still looks HD.

even better. ultra settings in every game over 60 fps. though I would totally recommend a 24" 1080p monitor...you can find them cheap on gumtree or shpock locally. I usually don't pay more than £30 for one, even if they are older still work fine. sold one to my brother in law, an iyama one form 2010, managed to overclock it to 75hz stable.
