For strix some say having vrm cooling issues . A thread from tech power up .

There are issues with evrey GPU.

Like I said just get the cheapest non fe/mini card you can get your hands on

strix, evga ftw3 or sc2, and evga sc2 hybrid. any hybrid cooler will have great temps. the msi gaming x is also a pretty good option, mainly because the strix is quite often out of stock.

i would personally go with the EVGA FTW3 model also EVGA's customer service is amazing. its the card i personally have and i love it

If we are just talking general overall, then ASUS Strix is the way to go according to Gamers Nexus.

 

You should just watch his video about it and decide for yourself.
