Totally Lost, Need Help

So I want a nice headset this Christmas, I've ruled out a lot. In the end I choose the Mod-mic 5 and MTH m40x headphones. I also a a pair of Logitech speakers. However I have no idea where to plug all this in. I got an Asrock Taichi z270 because I heard it has great on-board audio, so where do I install all of this. My case has inputs but I don't want to use them unless I have to. Here are the products.

You would plug the headphones into the green audio out jack, and the microphone into the pink microphone in jack.

That's what I thought. What about the speakers?

So I would assume you want both things plugged in so that you don't have to unplug one device and then unplug the other.

If the speakers have a 3.5mm cable (which I would assume they do), then look on the back of your monitor for a 3.5mm jack. You can plug it in there, and then just select your monitor as an audio device whenever you want to use the speakers instead of the headphones (which is what I do).
