Here's the deal I ordered the new in win aurora rgb fan/strip kit for my pc not realizing the whole addressable header was different from my 2 rgb headers on my Asus strix x370-f mobo and I am wanting to know is there any way without Jerry rigging it to get the kit to sync up? Like is there a fairly cheap way to convert the regular rgb header to an addressable one through a cable or something?

I've been searching online and have seen something called a DuPont cable mentioned a few times. Can i get one of those and wire it up the way it needs to be through the normal header?

The Aurora system is proprietary and requires their own controller to work, there is no way to directly interface analog headers to addressable LED systems especially as these ones require software based control to setup using a daisy chain system.

Image result for in win aurora rgb fan\

No, All that cable does is send the signal through it does not convert the signal from Digital to analog(It same type of cable used for your power switch but with different connectors). Your going to need actual hardware to do something like that.

This might work but I'm not 100% sure if it will connect to the motherboard or not.

Something along the lines of the guide in my signature may help.

Not sure if your led strips are supported by fast led though.

Sync RGB fans with motherboard RGB header.
