Hey,

So I've been trying to decide on a nice big case to stuff everything into, wouldn't mind it looking good either. I've come across the Thermaltake View 71. This case look pretty good in terms of thermals and what can fit into it, but I'm not sure about noise? It has lots of gaps, so I am not sure how noise dampening would go - but then if you had a quiet system to begin with (loudest component is 28 dbA) would it even matter how much dampening there is? There are much crazier cases like the P3 that have no panels to speak of, so I'd assume people simply build quiet systems in there and not worry much about sound dampening?

This got a little of track, but what are your thoughts? Good case?

It has poor build quality. The main affect of noise is how low your fan RPM gets. So If you find a spot for something like an Aquaero 6 LT, you could get most fans to very low rpm. (it is like a $100 fan controller, this version wouldn't need a 5.25 bay)
