Hello guys! So Christmas is coming up and I wanted to Upgrade my PC. My current setup has got an older AMD Apu (A8 7600) and a Radeon RX 460 with the discovered 1024 shader unlock. So I was thinking about getting a Ryzen R5 1500X or a RX 570-580. With the current Ram prices being way up I tend to buying the graphics card. I looked up thebottlenecker.com and tested the different systems. So I would had a 14% Bottleneck with the graphics card and a 41% Bottleneck with the Ryzen and RX 460. I don't have really CPU heavy uses besides gaming, but I am still not sure if I should upgrade my CPU or GPU first. It would be great if I get some replies from people that know what they're talking about, so I can make the best decision for me. Just for a idea I am going to list what I am playing and want to play: CS:GO, Overwatch, Fallout 4, GTA 5, GTA IV and San Andreas with some more (enb etc.), PUBG, Forza Horizon 3 and Motorsport 7, rocket league, Ghost recon Wildlands and some indie games

Current PC Setup:

AMD A8-7600 APU

AMD Radeon RX 460 (1024 Shader& 64 TMUs)

16 GB of DDR3 RAM

128 GB SSD and 3 TB HDD

If you see some spelling errors I am sorry, my English isn't the greatest :(

I think 570, because with a new cpu you need new ram new mobo etc. 570 should be just a few percent slower than the 580, but cheaper.

Yeah, but the money doesn't really matter. In my country I can get the RX 580 for 30€( around 25$) more than the 570. But the 1060 6GB isn't much more than the 580. But what better? I mean I was a Amd fan since my first PC, but the 1060 has a lower power consumption and higher core clock and everyone is saying that the 1060 is the way to go for 1440p-1080p gaming, if you have a bit more money than the RX 570-580 costs

From what I've seen the 580 and 1060 are pretty much neck and neck depending on the game, or have about equal amount of games they work better with. I'd check to see what kind of FPS people are getting with those cards for what games you like the most.

The higher clock on 1060 is not a valid point, because rx580 and 1060 are built with different arcitectures. Rx580 has more, but slower cores, while 1060 has less compute units(cores) but higher clocks. Get the 580.
