Hey, I'm wondering if I could get some knowledge dropped on me again.

I've looked for a few guides and found one with information about how to overclock with the Ryzen master tool but I'm wondering how to overclook my cpu with my bios, I'm pretty new to OC. I received a deal I could turn down for a Ryzen 3 1200 and a gigabyte gaming 3 black Friday, about $130 US, couldn't turn it down since I had an amd fx6350 (I believe) cpu. Anyways, the Gigabyte bios is bit confusing compared to the Asus board I was running. How do the voltage offsets work, the math involved and all, which settings should I be looking to change, I know the cpu clock speed but I don't want to hurt anything with the offsets, and is it worth OC via bios vs Ryzen master tool? And what are safe max temps and voltage for the Ryzen 3 1200?

Just go to YouTube and watch a couple of videos about it? there is nothing hard about it you go on the bios find the cpu settings, change the multiplier and that's it... BIOS changes per brand so find a guide for the one you have.

This was my first step, I searched rather decently for a week. I couldn't find anything that actually told me what was doing what, just put this number, and that number, and press go.

I didn't see the Tom's hardware one, that actually helps a lot, thank you. And I saw the linus one, I love the videos, but as a complete novice that video wasn't super helpful, felt kinda like it was made for individuals who know relatively what they are doing.
