Hello!

I had an idea of some hardware swap, if that could potentially enhance average gaming possibilities. PC No.1 was made just for home use and later on got 2nd RAM and 750Ti. As for the PC No.2...previous CPU died (couple years ago) and it got new CPU and MB. Both PCs were forced through low budget. No games after 2010 get played on both PCs.

PC: No. 1 - Easily at 60 fps on max settings in CS:GO, BF:BC2, Dirt 3.

CPU: AMD A8 6600K (has integrated graphics)

GPU: NVidia GTX 750 Ti

RAM: 2x8GB DDR3 Ballistics

MB: Asus A88XM-A

PSU: some 500w bronze plus

PC: No. 2 60fps in BF2 and simmilar. Euro truck simmulator 2 with difficulty.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 (doesn't have integrated graphics)

GPU: AMD HD 5700 series

RAM: 1x4GB DDR3 Ballistics

MB: MSI 970A-G43

PSU: some 750w...no pluses

Both uses HDD, but i have a 64 GB SSD waiting to be used, i'm just waiting for holidays to get on with that.

1st scenario: I could make 1 PC that's sort of good for mid-range gaming by putting RAM and GPU from PC No.1 into PC No.2, but rest of hardware would be less powerful than my phone and buying new system is not an option.

2nd scenario: Same story, but buying another 4 GB of RAM, then both PCs could use dual-channel mode.

3rd scenario: Swap CPUs, MBs and RAM. Then PC No.1 would have better CPU, but less RAM and PC No.2 possibly could use ingrated graphics with dual-channel mode instead of HD 5700, but i have no idea, if that would be more effective.

When PC No.1 didn't have 750 TI, it had hudge improvement on gameplay when 2nd RAM stick was added. If that improvement makes system better than having HD 5700 as GPU, then coud that be a way to go?

I am not very keen on making big investments in PC hardware,. because my car is in service and not sure how much that will cost.

Hope you understand what i was thinking and looking forward for your ideas on how to get anything out of this.

Also i'm willing to look for used hardware, if i just would know for what to look for.

Thanks!

Put 750 Ti, that 2x8 gb kit, psu, hdd from first build and ssd to FX 6300 cause its better than A8.

In the end i still need two working PCs.

Rest of hardware could be useful for browsing internet, nothing more.

My main goal is to get the 2nd system much better, while possibly sacrifising a bit of 1st system.
