I'm a little lost. My potential monitor vs. my current TV..

CuriousBro

Last year I switched from a 34inch to a 39inch tv. Since I got back into fps games, I have experienced a lot of what I called "vertigo" while playing. I just couldn't keep track of my picture as well as I could on my old TV. I assumed it was my eyes or my brain. But a buddy of mine who is a lot savvier than me was going on about his new monitor and why it was better for gaming. And then it hit me that my monitor might actually be blurrier when in fast-paced combat. I'm also losing sight of my picture on all four corners. It's a 39in 60hz 120 Clear Motion Rate .. Samsung UN39EH5003 39-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV (Black) (2012 Model)... Edit: This is all for PS4.

Does the monitor make that much of a difference, or is this all in my head.

I'm thinking of moving down in size, to a 32in, 144hz, with a 4ms response time. https://www.amazon.com/VIOTEK-GN32Q-2560x1440p-Crosshairs-Functionality/dp/B073V5T7WB

Not sure what the "vertigos" are... Like screen tearing or just blurry image?

The tv has "120 CMR" according to its amazon page. After some google searches I would guess that's around 60hz?

Response time was not given but I'll assume that it's more than 4ms?

Then the new monitor would help w/ the blur judging from the refresh rate and response time.

What do you think of the monitor I might get? Is there better?
