IO ports extender

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

Look for a docking station, they usually have cable that can come loose, so you can choose a longer one. They also usually offer some USB ports, audio jacks and one or more video ports (keep in mind with regular USB it wont use your GPU power). How many meters far away will the system be? Because USB 3.0 will have a max amount of distance.

Hello,
Im looking for a product which i haven't been able to find anywhere.

My PC is fairly distant from where i sit so i want a Hub of some sort that can bring all the required ports closer to me.
Basically, im looking for a product similar to this:
s-l500.jpg

Except, it requires 3.5mm jack for audio and microphone and then USBs on the side as well.
Maybe also if there is 2 audio ports one for headphones and another for speakers so i can switch between or something.

Lastly, i want to be able to stick it under my desk so it doesn't take up space on top but if something like that is not available then any other shape will do.

Thank you guys

About 1 Meter, longer than my headset reaches and well out of arms reach(i have to leave my seat to get things).
Are there any specific models you would suggest?

This is quite a solid model, which even has support for dual displays (DVI and HDMI):

https://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Universal-Display-Docking-Ethernet/dp/B009F7E730/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1511907121&sr=8-3&keywords=kensington+docking+station

I also expected you to want to position this product about 5 or more meters away, this product comes with the USB and power cable, which usually are about 1-2 meters long (it doesn't state the length anywhere though)

Bloody hell these things are more expensive than I thought. But that's the price for nice technology
But either way, thank you, brother, for your assistance. Much appreciated

If you are looking for a cheaper model, you can also get a model without video out ports which will lower the price significantly.

There are also cheaper options like this: https://www.amazon.com/SIIG-Portable-Docking-Station-Output/dp/B00TCV1MD2/ref=sr_1_37?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1511907722&sr=1-37&keywords=laptop+docking+station

But I haven't personally used this one and the reviews don't look great.. But I haven't read them, maybe they only complain about the video out for example..
