What are your thoughts on the Moto X4?

I am looking into getting onto Google's cell service project fi and the phones that are available are the Pixel, Pixel 2 and the Moto X4. I dont really want to pay $600-700 for a phone so the $400 for the moto looks pretty appealing.

 

I wanted to know what your thoughts were on the moto and whether or not it is worth saving a few hundred dollars or if I should go for the Pixel

 it's a great phone for 299 but the Pixel is still a compelling choice for 500.i would get the pixel

In my area the Pixel is $650 usd. Is it still worth it?

if you buy if from project fi you get 100 dollar credit towards your bill.and a google home mini

The $100 service credit is nice I forgot about that but you only get the google home if you get the Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL

I wouldn't get the Pixel 2 XL, way too many issues. How much do they want for the old Pixel? Might be worth going for. It's a good phone, just looks boring aesthetically.

The Pixel 2 is $650 and the old Pixel is $670 haha. The pricing is dumb. The Moto X4 is $400

You can get the Pixel a lot cheaper from B&H or NewEgg.

Good idea, I forgot that I could get the phone from a different vendor. If I really wanted to save some money I could get the Nexus 5 for less than $200 and they are also compatible with Fi

I wouldn't. The Nexus 5 is a really cheap feeling phone, and the 5x is prone to failure.

Oh okay thanks for the information. I hadn't heard about that, I had heard about the less than satisfactory camera but I didn't know that it had more quality issues. I think I will go with the Pixel

I think the Pixel is definitely a better choice.
