Hi.

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/BL33qk

I had been working on a list for my first build, and I have been trying to see where am I might be able to optimize it.

Should I decrease the RAM to 8GB (since that would be easier to upgrade later) to give it a 8600k (along with a h100i v2 cooler to allow for overclocking), or a better motherboard?

Storage-wise, I don't use that much so I think the amount there is okay.

If you can stretch to the 8600K, go for it. A non-K chip on a Z chipset is a waste. Also, there are 1080s roughly the same price as that 1070Ti, I noticed. Might as well get that :)

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

I actually got mine at just 600 CAD, so that's why I could afford it.

What do you know of this monitor? I read in some parts it have (may have? not many reviews) ghosting issues. It's also out of stock at the moment.

shouldn't have much ghosting. you can get the G2460PF instead if you can't wait for it to be in stock.
