So I am thinking the glorious modular mechanical keyboard and it has a US layout, I live in the UK, I think I am just going to deal with it because I love everything about the keyboard and have evaluated other options.

 

How can I change the windows settings so that when I press the dollar sign it shows a pound?

You do that by setting the input in windows to english UK
