Making coolant

So I wana try making my own coolant i know it's just a mixture of distilled water (95 ish %) a glycol or anti-freeze (5 ish %) and a bio-zine or dead water ( like 2 drops ) but can I just use food coloring to color it or am I stuck using the colored glycols

You can add a dye bomb, food coloring is usable but I wouldn't.

Most watercooling retailers sell dyes.
