My friend is looking for a gaming laptop. Her budget is £1500 absolute maximum. If it fits in the budget, without compromising on other specs, she said an rgb backlit keyboard would be nice. She'll mainly be gaming on it, maybe sending a few emails and typing up a few notes-- she moves around too much to get a desktop. A decent battery life would be preferable. She doesn't really mind if it's heavy. Any suggestions?

If got a clevo machine, its a great laptop for the money with an rgb keyboard option. Cost me about €1300 and has a i7 7700hq with a 1050ti. For the increased budged you can get one with a 1060. Pcspecialist carry them and if you order quickly you can use the black friday thing.

Gigabyte Aero 15" comes to mind. Dell has a couple cheap gaming PCs. MSI has a lot to browse through

Aero 15 is out of budget

Dell Inspiron Gaming line doesn't have RGB KB except Alienwares

Only GE Raider, GS and GT series from MSI are good. Most of them have RGB KB but GT has a much better cooling compared to GE Raider and GS. However GT series laptops are a bit expensive and doesn't offer many lower tier GPU options (most of them comes with 1070, 1080 or SLI)
