You know that AC750 is a range extender right?

I wouldn't say Ubiquiti routers are "amazing" routers, Linus just uses them all the time because sponsorships(Just like Intel, Nvidia, and many other brands). They're good but not amazing.

Asus seems to make a lot of great routers, like the ASUS RT-N600. Just make sure that you don't throw it in a corner or in a closet somewhere. Give it breathing space or it'll get hot and become slow and unstable.

If you live in a large apartment you might want to look into Mesh Wifi like the Netgear Orbi which is a lot more expensive but definitely worth it.

The Archer AC750 is a wireless router, there are other companies with that same number that are range extenders but not what OP is looking at.

Oh amazing, different products with the same name.

This is what I got when I looked it up

-snip-

Yah, nothing like re-using the same name to add confusion :D

I only knew it was a router just because I've seen it linked before, a search brings up similar results for me and several results down was the Dell link.

yeah that's it. I found it for cheap at 100 brl or 30 Usd. Is the Asus RT-AC51U much better?

That router is junk, the 750 router is broken up between both bands (150mbps on 2.5Ghz and 600 on the 5Ghz band), the TP-Link AC1200 is a much better jump for very little price increase.  As fas as Ubuquiti goes I have over a dozen large-menudim size business and they all us Ubuquiti access points long before I took the contracts over.  Ubuquiti has products that can send a 5Ghz signal over 100KM so yes some of their products are amazing, but majority of there customer base is Enterprise and wireless ISPs, not exactly marketed to your average consumer.  TP-link "Enterprise" grade router can be had for $55, and their long range AC1200 Access points for $90 or less on amazon

Also a good thing to note is the 750 has 10/100 Ethernet ports, not Gigabit

This is the better option:

http://www.tp-link.com/us/products/details/cat-9_Archer-C5.html#specifications

Now Personally I use this:

https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-SafeStream-TL-R470T-throughput-Concurrent/dp/B005SYQBN8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1511457133&sr=8-2&keywords=tp-link+wired+router

With a Ubiquity Unifi AC1200 Access point, But if Ubiquity is too expensive locally than look for this:

https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-AC1200-Wireless-Wi-Fi-Access/dp/B01LLAK1UG/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1511457471&sr=1-1&keywords=Unifi+AC1200

I've found a similar access point but as expensive as the ubiquiti. The Archer seems to have better prices.

Then Id stick with the AC1200 Archer series that has gigabit wired connections.  I used to Partner with TP-Link, I sold bundles that included installation and network optimization, I perter Ubiquity myself, but I still use a combination of TP-Link and Ubiquity because of the cost difference.

It wasnt a speed Issues its a QA  issue, I sold over 100 of the TP-Link Archer series, five were defective within the first year, three were the AC750's, two were the AC1200 with 10/100 ports.  The AC1200 router model I linked above is just a better build quality, never had an issue in the first 2-years with any I sold (warranty period).
