144fps = 144hz ?

✪ Kavinsky

Shalom muchachos,

i am confiused .. i have a 144hz monitor (1080p) but i don´t reach 144fps.

So why did i even bought a monitor like that, when the the point of having 144hz is to get the same amount fps..

hope you understand my thoughts and show merci please

Having a faster and more capable monitor doesn't mean you'll get 144FPS. You need to have the hardware to drive those frames to the monitor.

Not stuck to 60, but e.g. GTA V = 120fps...

It´s not like that it looks bad, i just was wondering.

I mean if you have a 60hz monitor you want to get those 60hz (at least) right ?

the monitor wont get you more fps. You will get exactly the same fps with that monitor or any other monitor. It's the hardware inside the pc case that makes you get 60 fps or more or less. Or every one would just buy the best monitor and cheap on the graphics card :ph34r:
