Monitor Upgrade? 4k60 or 1440p144hz

UPDATE: The monitor deal ended, so right now the cheapest 1440p 144hz monitor is 374 euros, that is too expensive. Thanks for all the answers anyway, ill wait when i can get a 1440p 144hz for around 300 euros. If anyone finds one for around 300 euros send a link, but right now the discussion is over, ill stick to my 4k monitor.

Right now I have this monitor:

https://www.amazon.de/LG-Products-27UD58-B-LED-Monitor-Ultra/dp/B01LBQ3QCA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1511442208&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+27ud58

Is it worth upgrading to this monitor, if I can sell my current monitor for the same amount of money.

Is 144hz really that worth it, and is the 1440p monitor still good enough colors for video editing etc?

I forgot to add because of my 1070 I play most titles at 1440p any ways.

Personally, I feel like 4k on a 27" Monitor is just overkill, while 1080p looks sluggish. 1440p is the sweetspot in that regard.

And since you only play at 1440p anyways, I'd say grab the BenQ

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

Well the 4k in video/photo editing software or desktop look sweet as heck, I don't know how much worse the 1440p is in that regard.

Well, there's less pixels (duh)

I don't know your exact use case, but I stick with what I said earlyer

personally, i'm planning on getting a 1440p 144Hz monitor, since i'm already on a 1080p 144hz Panel and not planning to go down to 60Hz at all.

so i suggest a 1440p 144Hz which is a very sweet spot.
