For $50 in my opinion you won't get something worth listening to but if $50 is the budget anything from turtle beach or plantronics are your best bet. I have seen Turtle Beach EAR FORCE PX21 go for about $50 on sale.

Accidentally pooped my pants in the elevator.

I'm taking this shit to a whole new level.

Nobody will want to listen to your voice recorded from anything $50 (except maybe a Blue mic). And you won't want to listen to anything from a 50$ headset. Save up for either a good headset+mic or the Steelseries Siberia Elite, I hear good things about them and that is a first for gaming headsets.

Man you guys are mean ;c The guy asked for a cheap solution for his needs and you guys bash on him.

Have you guys ever taken into consideration that this guy MAYBE isn't an audiophile like you?

Anyways OP, have you check out the creative fatal1ty? Now don't fear the "fatal1ty" brand. I have a few friends that use them, and they said that it kicks ass.

Then get razer surround, and you have a cheap 7.1 virtual surround sound headset.

I'm actually looking for a decent headset i don't mind the price i can always wait a few months. any suggestions apart from those siberia's

Do not buy a headset. Buy the AD-700x (about 100 USD) and a modmic (about 30 USD). The AD-700x are the best headphones for positional audio in games and the modmic is an attachable high quality mic. I am fairly certain the quality is better on the ADs anyway.

I only mentioned the Siberia because the OP wanted a headset and I didn't feel like linking the AD-700 and the modmic.

Thanks, never heard of a modmic but it looks nifty. I will look into the AD-700x's
