NASA WORLDWIND KML issues

Is anyone here familiar with WorldWind? I'm having some issues with lagging KML, but it works fine in Google Earth.

 

I'm trying to see if WorldWind might have it's own way of increasing efficiency like Google Earth did with regions within the KML. Moving the glove in GE this fluid, but WorldWind is like 12 FPS..

 

I'll also take suggestions on some GIS forums as well if you know if any.
