At 100% with a OC profile applied the max temp I'd say you'll see with a 1050Ti is 65c.

looking to upgrade my system, noticed that newegg has some decent cards on sale. 

are refurbished cards any good?

also are two of those cards even compatible with my AsRock z75 pro3?

I currently run a MSI 7870 Hawk overclocked to around 1275MHZ

I don't want to spend anymore then $220. it will be used for gaming but also for 3D rendering.

The 1050Ti doesn't get hot enough to need a dual fan cooler, I'd just buy the single fan one that I picked out for you.
