Steam wallet code information

If someone buy steam wallet code from local store or websites of Australia with local gift cards, will those codes work on South Asian region like India, Pakistan and Bangladesh?

Best to ask the retailer. I know there are different keys for different serials through experience of buying on cdkeys etc.
