Hello, few hours ago I posted a topic where i said that there was a sound coming from near the cpu after my pc crashed. I found out that the sound was coming from the waterblock only when this was plugged in the cpu-fan connector. Then (since I thought the os" windows 7 ultimate" was the culprit) I swapped the hdd with windows 7 on it with an ssd that had windows 10 on it. I got same results, even windows 10 is unable to boot and the only thing I see is the BSOD of windows 10. I took my old i3 from my server and I put it in the pc and everything started to work fine. Then I put the i7 in the server(os ubuntu, hdd seagate 1tb, mb msi h110M PRO-vd, ram crucial dual channel 16 gb 2133 mhz ddr4) and the os didn't boot up (I get a orange/purple screen without anything on it, just the screen with ubuntu's colors).(main pc: cpu i7 7700k, gpu zotac gtx 1050 mini, psu xfx ts450 (450w), motherboard msi h170M PRO-VDH, main hdd wd blue 1 tb, heatsink corsair h80i v2, ram hyperx fury ddr4 single channel 2133mhz 8gb). So here comes the question: is my i7 dead? It is brand new it doesnt even have 1 month of life and it worked fine for few weeks.
