Asus multi core enhancement

Ok, so just going to be really detailed to make sure people understand.

 

8700k 5ghz OC

1.35v - adaptive mode (SVID set to best case scenario - not going over 1.375 when Multi Core Enhancement enabled)

LLC level 6

140% current limit

 

 

When I have Multi core enhancement I get the following -

 

when Disabled Vcore shows 1.52v in HW monitor and Enabled around 1.35v

 

Could someone explain why I get high 1.52v vcore when I disable Multi Core Enhancement? I thought this setting only affected keeping cores locked to highest turbo frequency (5ghz)

 

I didn't think it affected voltages! 

 

Any more help on the matter, from someone who knows more would really help.
