Hey guys, I’m new to the forums so yeah haha. Anyway, this has been happening for over 6 months now, I’ve just remedied it by using a fan and aiming it at my System Unit or turning on the Airconditioner. So I have the AMD A8-5600k in my build and it’s been overheating badly, reaching 110 degree celcius, take note, it’s not ever overclocked yet or anything. Help please? I already reapplied thermal paste, cleaned the heatsink and even tried cleaning the CPU itself. It’s still running on it’s stock CPU Cooler though, would getting a better one improve it? Help please?

P.S I know its an APU and bad for gaming, that’s why am getting a better one after getting my GTX 1050 Ti.

Thanks in Advance!!!

Upgrade your cooler, even the smallest Noctua cooler is better then an intel stock cooler.

If funds are tight Dynatron makes some decent stuff.

Would that help fix the issue? I’ll check them out, thanks!

It will help a lot. however, it shouldn't be getting that hot in the first place so there is something else going on here such as bad air flow or the stock voltage is higher than the should be, it is a "hot" chip with the stock cooler so an upgrade to any cooler that uses 120mm fans should help. You can even get away with something like a hyper 212 but you will like a Noctua better IMO. if it stays above 70C with a new cooler let us know and we can look into what else might be going on.
