Hyper 212 Evo Installation

BlackSheepJason

So I have a hyper 212 Evo with a b350 f gaming mother board, now i read around that to screw it in you need to apply pressure but I feel as if its too much pressure needed to screw it in.

make sure its lined up right in the middle. there's s a tiny pin that sinks into a little notch on the bracket.

Installing h212 was bitch, you need to add pressure to get the screws in. Remeber screw partwary in and cross pattern to screw it in all the way

Screw the heatsink in slightly first in a cross pattern, then tighten each screw down (applying pressure at the same time) in a cross pattern until the heatsink is tight and installed.

There is a notch in the center and it should drop into it.  Once it does, you will need to put some pressure onto the screws.  For example, start the bottom left, then go to the top right, then bottom right then top left.  Keep doing a star pattern till they all are down and locked in completely.

One other thing to mention, don't screw one side of the heatsink down completely, otherwise you will damage the CPU.
