Im going to install Windows on a pc for the first time, and I've had people telling me that installing Windows with USB 3.0 can couse problems and they advised me to use 2.0 but i currently don't ou any trusted pen drive so im getting a new one. And i want a 3.0...

I got a few questions about the subject like:

Is it really true that 3.0 can couse problems?

If not and i get a 3.0 to install Windows can i use it regularly wuth Windows on it oe will i have to clean it?

And do i need to install Windows using a clean drive or can i have other stuff in it ?

So the actuall problems relates to Windows 7 and machines with only USB 3.0 ports: e.g Intel NUC's and similar: essentially a lack of native driver support for the official Windows 7 images meant that they'd fail to install properly on NUC's. The fix to this was to edit the ISO to include said drivers: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25476/Windows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility

Having said that, if you're using Windows 8 or newer, you'll be fine.

It can but its rare to happen especially with newer OS.

And if u encountered a problem just plug it into USB 2.0 u dont need to buy USB 3.0 FDD..

Thanks, do you know if I'll need a clean USB drive and after i use it to install Windows can i use it like a regular drive or do i need to clean it after?
