Good Ram?

I am wanting to upgrade my 8gb ram to 16gb. I dont have a budget but I want to get the best quality for a cheap price.

Do you have 2 4gb sticks now?  If you only have one 8gb stick just buy another.

DDR4. My current ram is some weird 8gb stick. I could not find it online. I bought the pc prebuilt but have since upgraded pretty much everything except for ram. I dont know what you mean by what platform am I on.

Is it an AM4 platform, or on an Intel chipset? What motherboard do you have and what is your budget... All important details.

I have an AM3+ platform. The mother board is a Gigabyte AM3+ AMD DDR3 1333 760G HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Motherboard GA-78LMT-USB3. I dont really have a budget. I just want something cheap that is good quality. Also DDR3 not 4 sorry.
