Yes if you want to run most modern games on low - medium. Your RAM is going to be holding you back at that speed and size. Windows is probably compressing data in the background and will be smashing your CPU in the mean time because of the bad RAM. It might tear and stutter at high settings. Maybe get some decent RAM, and if it requires it, a new motherboard to run then it. 

 

Again, 1080p will be OK but don't expect to max out modern games.
