Hello everyone!

After long time thinking and money saving (about 2 years) got this setup. any thoughts on it. Maybe there are some over kills...? :)

 

  • Case: SilverStone Redline Series RL06 Pro Tower ATX Black SST-RL06BR-PRO
  • Motherbord: MSI Z270-A PRO, LGA1151
  • Cpu: Intel Core i5-7600K, Quad Core, 3.80GHz, 6MB, LGA1151, 14nm, 95W
  • Cpu cooler: SilentiumPC Spartan 3 Pro HE1024
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 2133MHz DDR4 CL13 KIT OF 2 CMK16GX4M2A2133C13
  • Video card: Asus GeForce GTX 1070, 8GB, GDDR5, ROG Strix
  • Power supply: Zalman Power Supply ZM700-TX 700W 80 PLUS
  • HDD: Internal HDD Seagate BarraCuda 3.5'' 1TB SATA3 7200RPM 64MB
  • SSD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB SATA III MZ-75E250B/EU
  • bad research from me so i have no place for my DVD R/W. So i just connect, install all CDs or DVDs and remove it. :D 

and  monitor is   LG 24MP58 - 24 inches LED, IPS, 1080p, 5ms, 60Hz

p.s. Sorry for my bad English. I  live in Latvia and   its been long ago when i was in school.

p.p.s prices are unimportant. damage is already done! :D

Nobody told you to go for Intel 8th Gen Coffee Lake instead?

 

Other than that, it's a pretty solid build! Definitely max all games using your 1080p monitor!

Don't get Kaby, get an 8400 instead.

You'll have to change the motherboard.

Use the stock 8400 cooler. 

Get faster RAM.

PSU sounds a bit sketchy. Not even bronze certified, so it can't possibly be decent. Get something like a CX450 instead.

You can build a PC without an ODD

is Coffee Lake so much better? i got my i5 7600k for 200 EUROs. it great deal here.

A 4C4T 7600K would be identical in performance when compared to Coffee Lake 4C4T i3 8350K. I'm not sure about the prices at your area, so I can't tell you whether it's a good or bad deal.

 

Since you already got your system, there's no point comparing price/performance now. Just enjoy your games as 7600K is still very capable!
