Long story short, i dropped my phone in some water and it sat there for like 10 minuets before i found it, completely broken and no insurance. I'm looking to buy a used iPhone 6 online and a common thing i'm seeing is that phone's will be sold as ''iPhone 6 (Verizon)''  ''iPhone 6 (Sprint)" ''iPhone 6 (Unlocked)'' how does all that work? Can i buy a used ''(Verizon)'' phone and use it with AT&T and vise versa?

All the other carriers except Verizon can typically work on each others network (they area all GSM) if they are unlocked. Verizon phones aren't locked but Verizon is the only one who uses CDMA really so you need to Verizon version and typically they wont work on other carrier networks.

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

All Verizon iPhones are unlocked/support all bands (starting with the 5).

Sprint also uses CDMA btw.

Oh really? I didn't know that. The last time I was messing with trying to buy used phones and change networks I could never get Verizon phones to work on GSM networks and vice-versa.

All CDMA (Verizon/Sprint) iPhones will work on any carrier from the iPhone 5 onward. Any GSM-only phones (ATT/T-Mobile/etc...) will NOT work on Verizon/Sprint/any CDMA network.
