So today during English II, I was talking with my friends about my server.  We were all done discussing this book called "Antigone" (rhetorical aspects/moves of the characters), and I was ranting about how none of my IP addresses work.  I then told them about the IP address with a colon for port number (such as 192.xxx.xxx.xxx:68 for remote access I believe).  My English teacher happened to walk by, and said "Wow, you seem really enthused!  Are you talking about English or other matters?"  In order to save myself from embarrassment, I said "yes".

One friend then proceeded to find a colon which I didn't notice in the book and told the teacher, "yeah, he's talking about [insert line number and quote], and trying to talk about how the colon is used."  My teacher smiled and nodded, and walked away.  I just glared at my friend, even though he kinda saved my hind.  So now I had to devise a good reasoning on why the colon is a good rhetorical move. The friend just laughed, and then we discussed on how much crap I'm in.

In the end, the teacher was pleased with my response as to why the colon was used and why it's a good rhetorical move.  Little did she know, I was ranting about my server that I don't know how to use.

Just decided to share this story on the forums, that's all.  Funny part of my day.
