Hello guys, i currently have a 1TB seagate HDD and a 240GB transcend SSD. I am considering to add a 120-128GB SSD. Here is the first one: https://pcandparts.com/patriot-spark-128gb-ssd/

This is the second one: https://pcandparts.com/kingston-v400-120gb-ssd/

Can you please advise which one is better ? Thank you in advance.

They are both around the same price and are very similar, but the first option would be my suggestion just in case you need that extra 8gb. If not then I would definitely go for the second option.

Thank you for your reply. If the performance and quality of the second one are better, then i would definitely sacrifice these 8 gb. What do you think?

There doesn't seem to be a specs page for the first option anymore, so I would go ahead and get the second option because if the 1st option has been discontinued there probably isn't warranty on it anymore.

Is the second one good also? I think i read some good and bad stuff about it but not quite sure.

Based on purely specs, it is very good. I haven't seen anything about it such as reviews but the specs seem to show a fast write and read speed which is what matters here.

By the way, it doesn’t matter if i have 2 different SSDs regarding the brand and size right ?

Nope, they will still act as separate drives and be on their own (unless you use RAID, but they would still have their own speeds and specs).
