The 1440p is better. Personally I would get the 1440p if I had the money to buy it especially is youre working with video editing and photoshop. Overall youll get more detail out of the 1440p monitor.

2560x1080 gets my vote.

Edit: 2650x1080@144Hz gets my vote.

For PS and Video editing, the IPS panel is a lot better. If I was you I'd definitely either save up for a 30" 1440p IPS panel or then get a smaller 1080p panel.

I myself am rocking a 27" TN 1080p panel and I really think that even 27" is streching the 1080p resolution a bit too much.

Main rig:

• Ryzen 3600X • X370 Killer SLI • 16GB Corsair LPX 3200Mhz • Strix 1070ti • Define R5 • SuperNova 750 G2 • Evo 1TB + X300 4TB •

Secondary rig:

• Acer prebuilt • Rzyen 1700X (upgraded) • OEM 1060 3GB • 256GB SSD + 1TB Seagate (upgraded) •

This is an ultrawide 30" which is about the height of a 24" 16:9.

Oh sorry, I missed that. Then I'd be all for getting the 144hz IPS panel for any sort of gaming over any 60hz panel.
