OK, so I bought a new GPU, and after installing drivers, it works fine, except for 2 things.

1. The temps are high, but I'll try replacing the thermal paste.

2. When I watch YouTube, I get these random flashes of color that last for only, like, a millisecond, but is still annoying.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Image result for artifacting

Is it artifacting? couple examples above tends to be magenta green or black pixels smearing across screen

Nope, and if it is it happens too quickly for me to tell.

well if its just youtube that could be unrelated to the gpu but fix up the thermal paste and see if it goes away, issues like this tend to be caused by 1 of the following, failing to remove old drivers properly, operating system invalidating/corrupting drivers, bad cables/debris in cable port, partial gpu failure/instability (this can be cause by too high of speeds memory or chip, heat, or to much or little voltage or the gpu dying ** worst case scenario not likely)

I ranked those in order of likely hood so software first followed by thing like bad connections then lastly the gpu itself. Oh and if it is really just youtube try fiddling with the browser, clear cache and temp files and see if it's all up to date

See, the part that confuses me, is it only happens on YouTube so far. I played an hour of CS:GO and nothing happened.

Try another site, netflix etc anything that streams and see if its an issue, if not it's likely just youtube being youtube in which case there isn't much you can do besides clearing browser data in case something is poorly cached
