Is the RAM in the QVL for your motherboard? Its a bit uncommon, but if its not specifically listed there, it has a chance to be unstable and not work. Usually it would just downclock it to the native 2133 though, so it could be something else but it wouldnt hurt to check just in case nothing else is wrong.

Is this a new build? all new parts? or upgrading an existing PC?

Have you checked that your RAM is seated properly? if not take it out, and re-seat it into the slots.

Have you made sure slot orientation is accurate? look in your manual to make sure which 2 slots you supposed to fill first (1 and 2, 1 and 3, 2 and 4, ETC)

Re check all power cables running to all components just in case.

yes this a new build,

in the QVL, only the last 2 characters are not innit.

Still trying to install the drivers maybe its the reason.

If its not identical serial numbers, its probably a different type of the same RAM unfortunately. Definately update all your drivers to current ones and see if that fixes the problem. If not, Run through and recheck everything to make sure its all connected correctly. When you get into your desktop, have you checked to see what everything is running at? temps, RAM speed, ETC to make sure nothing is going all whacky? See if your RAM is clocked at the 2666, or 2133.

do you have the memory in the right slots? Also, try reseating the CPU/ loosen the cooler. I have seen such issues.

Are you running a BIOS version with Agesa code 1.0.0.6 or newer? Run the RAM at 2133 MHz if it's not stable at 2666
