Am i the only one who thinks naming it the 7s and the iphone X actually X and not 10 wouldve been a lot smarter

As soneone who doesn't pay attention to or really care for iPhones, a bit of context in the post would have been nice.

@RKRiley I’m pretty sure they were planning to call the 8 and 8plus, 7s’a and changed it last minute

No, I agree that would've been much better. Then again, I also wish the 8/X had a metal back (and that the X was $100-$150 cheaper with a lower resolution LCD).

It's an iPhone 7+ in a smaller body with a faster CPU and better camera. The screen on the iPhone 7+ is still excellent, and doesn't have the burn in issue that OLED does, and the higher resolution is irrelevant on such a small screen at typical viewing distances. Not to mention that wireless charging is pretty mediocre across the board and a glass back just makes the phone more fragile.
