So I have a second display that I don't always want on. Usually I used to just switch it off manually whenever I wasn't using it but recently I found out about the Win+P combination and subsequently the "displayswitch.exe /extend" etc... command line counterparts. I've written two different .cmd files, one that activates the second display (/extend) and another that deactivates the second display (/external) and I know both of these work when I click on them normally.

I've then tried to use my keyboard software (Corsair Gaming Software) to run these .cmd files from the dedicated macro keys on the Corsair K30. I know that .cmd files can be run through these macro keys as I have another set to switch my audio output device that works perfectly. However, when I try to use the macro keys to activate the files, the command prompt shows briefly but nothing happens.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to work? Thank you.
