Okay so I have just switched my system over to Ryzen, and have decided to install windows on my SSD instead of my Hard Drive. The installation was going well up until Windows had to restart to continue the installation. At this point I pulled the USB to stop Windows going back to the beginning, expecting it to boot up my SSD and continue but instead was greeted with the message "Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device".

I have tried:

Setting the SSD as MBR and trying it as GPT but no hope.

Activating the partition in Command Prompt however I am met with the message : The selected disk is not a fixed MBR disk.

I have set the SSD as the boot device in bios and tried reinstalling windows multiple times in case something went wrong during installation.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
