Gpu not showing

So i have 2 gtx 1080 and connected it with the sli bridge that came along but it does not show the sli option on nvidia control panel.

btw both my cards are different brands.

any ideas?

Are you using a motherboard that supports SLI?

yes i am using GA-Z170X-Gaming 7

Does your PSU power both of them? If yes, just try to plug them out and in again.

i tried it and everything works 

pcie lanes are fine 

both cards are fine

mobo is fine and i tested both cards individually 

but when i sli them, 1 card could not be seen by my system
