So I'm looking at getting a new desk for PC gaming and I've been looking at IKEA's FREDDE desk which is coming in at $230. Maybe it'll go on sale on black Friday/Cyber Monday, but I'm curious if there is a better option for fitting a ATX mid tower case and not have it sit on the desk. My budget is no more than $250, but I don't care if it's made of metal or wood, I'm not too picky about looks either, just something that works. Thanks guys.

don't forget to check if it is enough space for multiple monitors/speakers/whatever else.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

What size are you looking for? I went to ikea and in the sale section i found an 8ft x 3ft piece of wood (think it was supposed to be for a kitchen). I slapped it on two Alex drawers and a truss like thing (forget the name) and it fits my PC, Ultrawide monitor and still have ~4ft x 3ft of room to do school work on. It is an amazing setup if you have the space.

I would definitely recommend this method.

EDIT: They have smaller pieces of wood in the sale section aswell, different finishes and whatever you need. It can also be cut although not ideal to do that. I cut mine and just put the rough edge against the wall.

That's definitely a large desk, I'm not sure I can fit all that desk into my room. Lol.

Lol they definitely have smaller sizes that you can choose from also. My desk is very thin so screwing anything into it is kinda hard. Its a good option for a desk other than the linnmon top which is a very cheap feeling piece of material, just from my experience.
