Ok pebblers, here's some bad news for those who believe FITBIT will continue to support the Pebble watch as is going forward. Fitbit just released its disastrous 4th quarter earnings and the stock price has dropped like a lead balloon to under $6 per share. The CEO has announced that within the year they are planning to launch a smart watch. FITBIT needs to raise revenue and will be designing their own Smart Watch utilizing the Pebble and Vector technology. I doubt that it will be compatible with existing Pebble watches since FITBIT needs to sell new watches

@Shawn71, if you're referring to the missing thumbnail icons, you can get them to load by following the technique used in this Reddit thread36. In brief: some data on Pebble's cloud servers isn't being fetched because of an invalid SSL certificate. Using Packet Capture (and installing its private certificate) allows you to work around this, so the Pebble app will trust the connection to the remote server. This poses a "man in the middle" security risk, but it does work, at least temporarily.

Literally no one thought Fit Bit would continue to support anything Pebble.
