Please help corsair h80i

There are plastic sleeves on the 4 pin. Pull them off. Me and my friend had this problem last night.

I can't for the life of me work out how to connect my fans using this adapter that came with my h80i.

I think the other end of this cable fits into the block of the CPU and these ends pictured here are supposed to be different so that I can fit my standard fan in?

Please help me!! Any advice would be great!

 scroll down view full page and do it there, i guess. other than that i don't really know

PC specs.3570k, asus p8z77m pro, 8gb corsair vengence 1600MHz, XFX 550w, seagate barracuda 1TB, MSI 660ti, cooler master k350, cooler master hyper tx3 evo.

Thanks! Yeah it resolved, it was not very clear and had no mention in the instructions. I thought I had been given a wrong adapter.
