Upgrading Rig

These boards are worth it if you plan to push 8 core.

Best is Taichi, middle is Strix and the worst is Gaming 5.

I'd take the Strix because it is pretty balanced board, I don't like the Taichi that much because of the excessive (yes, excessive) amount of phases/fets which leads to lower efficiency than Strix. It does run very cool however, only limitation is the willy-nilly doubling that limits the Fsw to 300KHz max (i think 600KHz is the max of 35201, so 600/2 = 300)

So to sum things out,

 

Ryzen 7 1700

Asus Strix X370

G.Skill Trident 3200 16gb

 

and for now paired with my current 

Seasonic S12II 620W and Asus GTX 770 DIrect CU II OC.

 

Should be fine right?
