i3 8350K vs i7 7700K

rans

okay i've seen many review on youtube about this 2 cpu and shows almost the same performance when it comes to gaming. any valid reason why its happening? I can only think thats because i7 is for content creation thus the gaming power is limit to the same amount of gaming power for the i3?
correct me please. ty

8350k ~ 7600k.

But most games show diminishing returns from >4c/4t, although it certainly depends on the games. So in many games, a 7600k, 8350k, and 7700k all perform similarly.

Well, a lot of games don't seem to take very good advantage of hyperthreading/more than 4 threads, so logically when it basically becomes a 4C vs 4C battle... They perform identical.

And the thing about the i7 being made for content creation and being limited for gaming... lolno

The i7 7700K will perform better then a 8350K, but the price to performance is better with the i3 8350k. One thing though, why would you want an i3 8350K, when you can buy an i5 8400 (which is just as good as a 7700K) for only like 20 euros more.
