New SSD, how to move the OS

So, I will be getting a new SSD for Xmas, and I was curious as to the best way tot transfer my OS.

 

I'm gonna upgrade my SSD, and I need to know if my Windows can be transferred. It's Windows 7 Home Premium N Edition. I'm not sure how to do this, and have read somewhere that the N edition ones cannot be transfered. If this is true, then I will probably have to buy a new copy -.- 

 

Any help would be great, cheers.

PC: EVGA GTX680, i5 2500K, 8GB Kingston HyperX, Gigabyte Z68-GA-UD3P, 120GB OCZ SSD, 2x1TB WD Greens, Corsair 600t, Corsair AX750, Corsair H100i, ASUS MX239H, Corsair K60 + M60.

Please, do back-up of important data and do a clean install of the OS on the SSD.

It makes things so much easier and cleaner.

 

PS the only difference with the N version is no media player.

If you are simply moving from one SSD to the same size or larger SSD see if the drive manufacturer has a utility or use a tool like Acronis True Image.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Don't have a disk ;/ I was given it by my uncle and he just flashed it to a USB and then gave me the cover. I didn't buy a DVD drive, so I couldn't use a disk.

Free Install... less trouble than cloning..
